Further development for SSRun

Prolly the first time I've written one of these since the patch for my very first game Asteroidsds, but just a simple announcement here that I want to remake this with a few levels and a new coat of paint.

Even minus the reuse of old assets, I don't feel this holds up to my own quality standards. Each of my entries on this website so far has been a unique game with its own feel that imo fully gets their points and mechanics across in somewhat satisfying ways. And even though this was a foray into how feasible mobile games are for me, I don't think that's different enough on its own to justify this one's existence.

That being said I'll probably keep this Sacristrike-adjacent (the game the old assets came from) as many mechanical inclusions I plan to make fit well in that setting. It will definitely be renamed, probably something as simple as "Sacristrike: Run" or some other weird contraction like Sacrun idk.

This will also technically be the first jam game I take past its jam version, even though it's mostly based on a non-jam game. I plan to keep only one file of the jam version up once it's finally updated, and that file should be the apk. Even though it's the only one with a slight camera issue towards the end, this was meant to be a mobile game, and it makes the most sense for me to keep that one reference to the jam version.

I'm going to try and focus on design that feels more like real games from now on. I feel like I've left a lot of mechanics on the table in favor of shipping arcadey prototypes that take less than 10 minutes to complete. And although I think Asteroidsds is a nice experience and the rest of what I made are unique in their own right, it often falls into "pretty plain" or "pretty short". So, levels, save data, longer games; I hope I'm ready.
